Council Supports Lake and Reservoir for Public Activities

City Council supports executive plan to utilize lake and reservoir area for public activities.

This could be new tourism destination in Jakarta

Commission E Member, Rifkoh Abriani said legislative is supported that plan fully. Not only used to storage water, lake and reservoir areas also can be used for sport and play ground.

"If it can be used by public as gathering facility, we support it," she stated, Thursday (1/4).

Sandi Wants Lake and Reservoir Used for Various Activities

Another member of Commission E, Belly Bilalusalam also support it. He hopes lake and reservoir could be used as tourism destination in Jakarta.

"We are very welcome to that initiative and creative idea. This could be new tourism destination in Jakarta," he added.

For information, previously Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno wants to use lake and reservoir in Jakarta as a place to hold public activities, including water sport.
